Need help understanding mmol/g?

Help, my brain is leaking trying to understand this.I was interested in the metal scavaging material mentioned on the forum. The company states that its product smotex 105 has a metal capacity of 4-6 mmol/g.At a price of 332 bucks for 25 g's is it even a viable option for collecting pgm values? How many g's of metal can be recovered? Whats a mmol? Am I the only person who finds this confusing? Help lou help :lol:
