I'm a refining novice from California & I'm happy to have found this site as it seems full of great info. I've read most of the noob info & I'm now a bit nervous to post a question... but if my searching continues to leave me stumped, I hope not to offend the community by asking!

Hi and welcome, it seems you are doing the same mistake as other does: misinterpret the answers given by experience forums' members. In any case those answers, even if with an harsh tone (rare), will guide you to the right direction.

Most of the answers you refer to are from newbies already making messes and not listening to answers given. This is what creates the harshness on the forum.

Enjoy the learning experience as well as great people behind the minds here. We're all good people helping each other.

How about telling us alittle about yourself and your interest in precious metals. For a good place to begin is downloading a free copy of C.M. Hoke's book. She takes you through what you need to learn to have an understanding of what we do. There is our safety section that is a must! Also, The guided tour of the forum.
