Ok, guys---lets all take a step backwards and cool our jets. There's no need for everyone getting upset and having hurt feelings over this thing. We're all human (I think I am, anyway), and subject to doing stupid things once in a while. It's not for me to judge who's screwed up in this mess----just trying to calm things down.

4metals: where do the majors that pay 99.5+ go to sell their output, or refiners like ara or fournines sell their final product. In other words how does the spot market operate in the U.S. ?.

I have heard that sometimes gold can be sold at a premium, but I always discounted as hearsay or applicable in small volumes to special situations.

I think he meant who in turn like someone as in yourself would sell to after your buying it at 95-98.75. Or in his question 99.5

this is simple( as in) not rocket science.

retailers buy from manufacturers, and so on, and so on...

Scionxb06 is a personal friend of mine.I highly recommend them.If you have anything below 22k,he tests it with you sitting right there,and gives you a total.If you like the total he pays cash.Anything above 22k needs to be left to assay for a few hours,then you come back and get paid the same day......cash.I've already sold to him several times and I have 17.4 grams going monday.
You guys know how much I just love refineries :roll: ......so if they get a thumbsup from me,you know they are good.
