I found another good use for my 98% Sulfuric, the drain pipe in our 100 year old house was so full of grease and hair the water would not flow. A couple of liters of sulfuric over night fixed the problem.

Problem with sulfuric is it's correspondingly hard on the plumbing.

I've been using an enzymatic type drain cleaner, which I recommend highly. Absolutely no risk to plumbing, with benefits beyond the blockage in that it promotes digestion of solids in a septic system. A true win/win situation.
