Nitric solution to dissolve base metals from ceramic CPUs.

I read a lot about dissolving the base metals of ceramic CPU`S by using a AP solution.
But I wonder if it is also possible to dissolve the base metals by placing the ceramic CPU`S as they come in a 53% nitric solution and then gently boil the solution for 3 hours. And after that filter the foils and proceed with a AR solution to dissolve the gold foils.
