Hi all - thanks for having me here! I've been scrapping electronics for a few years, since gold was $350/tr oz.
So far, I am just concentrating materials, grading-up so to speak. Made two deliveries of whole PCBs to a refiner; first lot 670 pounds returned $900 in Aug 2005 and second lot 500 pounds returned $1300 in Feb 2008.
I have been reading, learning and acquiring equipment so far before attempting any refining. With the help of this forum, I will be better able to go about it safely. Specific interests include the use of dibutyl diglyme extraction and portable XRF analysis.
