From assay whith nine compounds over electronic scrap:

Na Borohidride.
Oxalic acid.
K Oxalate.
Hidroxilamine chloridrate.
Ascorbic acid.
K ascorbate.
Formic acid.
Na formiate.

K Oxalate show be the best in gold recovery.
1 gram recovery 635 mg. of gold.

The recovered gold have the following contents of impurity in ppm.

0.21 Zn, 0.06 Co, 0.16 Fe, 0.09 Pb, 0.21 Cu, 0.04 Ni.

The ascorbic acid is rapid (1 - 2 hours).

1 gram recovery 785 mg. of gold whit approximate 3 ppm. of impurity, the largest part cooper with 2.4 ppm.

The process include a first treatment of the material with nitric acid (for remove soluble metals) and treatment of the residue with AR.
Water dilution. Extraction with dibutl carbitol (10 ml. for 600 mg. of gold). And precipitation with oxalate.

Synonymous:

Bis(2-butoxyethyl)ether; Butyl diglyme; 2,2'-Dibutoxyethyl ether;

Dibutyl carbitol; 5,8,11-Trioxapentadecane.
