I am following a book

I would like to prepare reagents

Concentrated acids

How do I prepare this
I don't understanding what he is saying
Conc. HCL. 12N SP. gr. 1.19 contains about 38 per cent
HCL by weight

Conc. HNO3. 16N SP. gr. 1.42 contains about 70 per cent
HNO3 by weight

Dilute Acids
Dilute HCL. 3N. Mix 25cc. conc. HCL with sufficient water to make 100cc.

Thanks

It's common chemistry lingo.

Here's a link about N = Normality

Normality

The rest of the abbreviations are sp. = specific gravity, HCl = Hydrochloric Acid, HNO3= Nitric Acid, Conc. = concentrated, cc = cubic centimeter= ml = milliliters,
