If you drop silver an gold out of a solution with zinc then dissolve the zinc precip in H2S04 what color will the powder be?

Gold powder would be some shade of brown. Silver powder is gray. If copper was in the solution, the powder would be reddish brown. The final color would depend on the mix.

To help prevent dissolving any silver, I would use weak H2SO4 - maybe about 10% by volume.
