Good day fellas!

I am at the end of processing filter papers, solids from waste material, and similar.

I have Stannous negative concentrate solutions, which I split per batch in individual 500mL glass pots. They are mapped roughly 2 pots per batch, so that I can have labels telling me where each one came from.

==> Leftover concentrated solutions from Aqua Regia, A/P, HCl/Bleach
==> All pots have Stannous negative solution for Au or PGM

Now I am working with a stripe of pure Cu in each glass pot. Pots are set aside.

The question is: can I feel comfortable I have removed PGM and Au from all this after this long stage with Copper?
Do you guys assume it is low prob. I incur on any loss after the Cu treatment?

Any comment is more than welcome.

Regards

once the copper levels in a concentrated solution get too high they can hold some PGM's in solution. dilution will allow them to drop properly.
Aside from that, Copper cementation will allow recovery of all the precious metals

Cheers Wal
