Hi guys I know this post doesnt belong here but I was not to sure where to post it. I would like to know if any of you guys know of any good refiners/refineries in australia that will melt down gold to 1 gram bars? Any information would be good

I expect someone who's been here longer than me to come along in about 4 hours and tell you this: "it'd be cheaper to just go and buy 1 gram bars. 1 gram is impossible to pour, but not impossible for a major operation to roll a sheet to specific thickness then stamp out a size that is exactly 1 gram, which there are already places that do that and sell to you."
Sorry for not answering your question.

Some interesting stuff:
gold is 19.3 g/ml in density
so 1 g = 1/19.3 ml = 0.0518 ml = 51.8 µl
a drop of water varies in size based on the source, but there are about 17 drops per ml (1/17 = 58.8 µl)
That's how small 1 g of gold is: smaller than a drop of water

Wow!... What an incredible way to put that into perspective.

p.s.- I've visited the Perth mint and they deal in bullion bars starting at one gram. Any reputable coin or bullion dealer should be able to get some for you, IF they don't have it in stock.
