refining

Hi everybody. new member here. My father owns a jewelry store/repair shop. Mostly repairs though. The guy who used to do his refining is retiring and I was wondering if refining is something that we could do ourselves or should we just look for a new refining guy. Thank you...chapa

I would recommend you do some reading for a couple of days to familiarize yourself with the refining field first. Where are you located?

I am located in San Antonio,TX. Can you recommend any websites or books so I can read about the field? My father did it himself many years ago, but I can't seem to find a place that carries Nitric Acid. Thank you.
