Hi friends. I'm new around here. I processed 500 grams of fingers with nitric acid. The blades have been successfully separated. Once washed I have verified that I have many traces of paint.
The next step is the aqua regia.
Can I put the gold sheets with the remains of paint with the aqua regia?
Should i clean the paint beforehand?
how should I do it?
Thanks for the tips. Greetings from Spain

Yes, the next step is to dissolve the gold. The contaminants will filter out after the gold is dissolved.
Looking good so far.
Good luck.

If you used nitric you more than likely have enough nitrates. tart with just Hcl and eat or time.

the contaminates will just filter out.
