Heat it with concentrated HCl. The nickel and aluminum will dissolve.
Remove as much of the base metals as possible. Rinse residues well with distilled water, then boil in 40% nitric to get a green nickel nitrate solution. Decant off the solution, and add more nitric until very little nickel is seen. Then dissolve the residues in aqua regia, evaporate with additions of HCl and concentrate to a syrup. This can be reduced with sodium sulfite, sulfur dioxide, or least preferably oxalic acid.
