separating gold plating from silver platingng

I have access to a coper stamping, its entierly plated in silver and gold is plated on the silver. Will the muriatic acid/hydrogen peroxide method work? if not is there a viable way to do this?

How big is it? Is it an art piece? If so it might be worth more as art than the gold or silver value.
