Just finished a 4L cell
400 + grams of silver in 4L of Electrolyte
Cathode a stainless steel pot from Goodwill .
Anode typical one cup Tupperware w/ Dacron filter for the slimes catcher.
59 oz of Silver refined
Crystals were small but the cell worked well .

Lessons learned ;
Need a bigger anode basket
Ran it on CC for 24 hours
Should have just started it off on CV

I'm planning on building a 4L cell as well. How many grams of silver did you dissolve in nitric to make your electrolyte or is there some other formula for it?

100+grams of Silver \ Liter
150-100 grams per liter standard
The higher your Silver concentration the longer it can be run depending on your copper content of feedstock
Thanks. I'll probably use silver I have already refined for the cell. I watched Sreetips make his electrolyte but he didn't explain the quantity of silver unless I just missed him saying it. Thanks for the info.
