Looking for a small quantity (100 grams or so) of sodium bromate for some experiments.

Can anyone suggest some sources - GFS Chemical (where I buy my acid) does not carry it.

It can be easily made from sodium bromide at the pool supply.

If you can't get some maybe we can ship orm-d to you.

Do you want to try the Gilchrist hydrolysis? I can send some things for you if you promise to make a video and follow the procedure.

Cool. I can't upload attachments any more to the forum unfortunately (thank you Maiahost d'oh as they've banned my whole ISP) so it's great that you can do this.

Do you need crude Pt too? I figure you don't have indicator...

New: Security System implemented.

by Admin on June 25, 2009

Hi, We have installed and configured a new anti hacker system on all servers. Note that this system automatically blocks users by IP address if they are found to input more than 5 times wrong username or password to any of the following: FTP, CPanel, eMail and Web Security (if you password restricted any folder on your website). If you accidentally blocked yourself (if you forgot your password for example) please contact us and we will add your IP address to the friendly list.

Our new security implementation successfully blocked numerous misc exploit attacks over the popular Joomla and WordPress systems. It also blocked huge number of WordPress Comment Spammers which is becoming a huge problem for most Bloggers. Now all reported for spam automated crawlers will be blocked automatically.

I do have some. I can also send you some 98% Pt contaminated with Rh and Ir that we usually do here.

Shoot me a PM with your contact and I'll give you a phone call.

I found this video on Youtube that describes a method for producing sodium bromate.

Any comments? Does this method look like it will work as described?

Thank you - kadriver

Why can't one use Bromine instead?
