Sodium Disulfite (Stump out By Bonide)

Stump out By Bonide, found it at my local lowes.

Anyone try this as a dropper? Anyone from the chemical Scene got any insight?

Should work, but...
If it is too impure to use as it is, try adding HCl to it and bubbling the gas produced (sulfur dioxide) through your chloroauric acid solution.

I have used it with no problems, MSDS lists purity at 99%.

Wow thats good news, at 4.25 a pound vs 10 $ a pound plus no shipping puts it at less then half the cost of SMB..

Plus its pretty much found at any local hardware.

Here's SMB for $2.50 per pound plus shipping. You'll get it even cheaper if you buy a larger quantity.

I will keep this link for later, with the winter fully set I would be putting the cart before the horse, first I need some scrap, then I can worry about processing it.
