dose sodium bisulfite in the pool section work for percipatating gold ,or dose it have to be sodium metabisulfate?

Cloomis,

The stuff used in the pools (pH Down) is sodium metabisulfate, so can not be used for gold precipitation; however, it can be used to fuse Rhodium and to easily produce your own Hydrogen Chloride gas.
