A nice experiment showing the reversibility of Ir(IV) to Ir(III) and back again:

Thanks Irons,
Sounds like a fun expieriment if I had the materials in my lab, well I may try it with the ferricyanide and just dealing with a little prussian blue electrode passivation.

Actually I can use some blue dye for my shirts I keep getting bleach on them (they end up with red spots on my navy blue shirts).

Work clothing?
Most likely caused by nitric acid. I used to have them on all of my work cloths. Synthetic fibers--they aren't destroyed by the acid--they just change color. If they are cotton, must be something else, as they would end up with holes.
