Stannous test . Is this pd , pt , gold?

You're testing a SOIL sample? You could have so much stuff mixed in there, the test is meaningless.

Stannous is only useful for processed metal dissolved in acid. To test soil with a high metal content, you need a proper assay to determine what's in it.
 
Very likely copper. Nice brown false positive.
First I acid washed the soil.
I boiled the soil with nitric acid to remove copper and other harmful substances from my soil.
Then I did aqua rgia. Then I took a stannus test, which was dark brown.
Is this gold?
