This is from a batch of gold filled. Dilute nitric, AR. It was Super fine, washing/filtering issues so I did AR again, water wash. Used SMB both times.
Read about sulfuric wash helping it clump and the photo is the decanted sulfuric.
The second photo is after water wash, with what did clump and drying. Still has a lot of super fine powder.
Any thoughts why this is so fine, it passes right through filters.
After the super fine from the water & sulfuric wash settle Anything else I should try?
I'll try it through another round of AR/smb.

Based on the clumping I wouldn't worry about it. Reduce the volume of the liquid, saving it for later. Wash and dry the clumps and melt them. That super fine stuff could easily be impure and will likely down grade the clumped stuff. I often send that fine stuff to a separate stockpot and save it until it builds up a decent amount then work on it during a slow spell. Often I find some sort of pgm in the mix as well.

Ok, thanks. Here's what I dried, will take a day or 2 for the rest to settle

To help settlem the fines put your beaker on heat and boil the water gently it usually helps to bring them together.
