Here I am again, asking a newbie question, even though I've done this for quite a while. Anyways, I've got this REAL pretty gold that sparkles and shines, but I got it when I over dropped with Sodium Sulfite. So the pretty stuff needs to have the excess SS washed out of it. What should I use? Just boiling water? I've seen it mentioned on this forum before, but I can't find it on the search bar.-Yvonbug-

Just boiling water?

Yup.

Several distlled water washes will do the trick.
Boil on the last wash to adhere the powder tightly.

The d. water is for when you get it dry, so no salts will stick your gold to the glass walls.
