I have never run into ceramic quads before. Just goes to show the more you know the more you learn you don't know.

Although technically those are certainly quads (exterior pins on all 4 sides) I would "class" those as "gold cap" ceramic (quad) ICs --- & not just ceramic ICs

BIG difference in yields (as we know)

I have a similar hand full of these exact chips. They will sit on the shelf a long time I'm sure... i doubt it will be worth processing just the few and i don't get gold caps to toss them in with.

I have about 20lbs of those I have no idea the yield I can expect from them though unfortunately
