Hi, i'm new in this forum but i really interested in the topic since it help me alot in terms of metal knowledge.

Curently i'm building a massive furnace for metal smelter, mainly in copper. What i need to know is what's the perfect material for copper cast. My friend suggest stainless steel, while i see on youtube many of cast are made within black colour. What is that thing? And is it good to surpress the Fe contamination in my copper ingot? I want my ingot weight around 40-50kg so in 1 batch of melting i can accomodate 200 kg melted copper within 4-5 cast, without Fe contamination. Please suggest your knowledge so i can maximize my production.

Regards
