Would a Zn-alloy slowly corrode in Ni(II) and Cu(II)?

I just wonder...I have some Ag-plated Cu-Ni-Zn-alloy in some fouled CuSO4 electrolyte ( well, it's more NiSO4 now) and maybe I just see, what I'd like to see, but it looks like the alloy slowly dissolves. Could it be, that Ni and Cu cementates, the alloy is dissolving and the concentration of ZnSO4 is raising. It would just be perfect, if there in the end (after some years  ) only was ZnSO4 in solution, Cu+Ni powders and Ag foils left over.....
