What do you advice to do, when AR solution, after working some time on the metals, is being wasted and stops working even heated? If the quantity of solution if big enough, we need to add large amount of fresh AR, after what there will be a problems with excess of nitric. What is about hydrogen peroxide in such cases, maybe it can fasten the reaction with almost fully wasted AR?
Or, maybe, you know some facts. For example, would hot AR work on gold/platinum/palladium, if the concentration of solution is only 1% (if I add 10 ml of fresh AR to fully wasted liter of AR)? Maybe this figure can be less?
