Thank you for these stories showing us more of the man and dad that he was. It is great that your family has such good memories of him.

Thanks, Everyone. He was one of a kind...! He was such a sweet and giving soul. It's so awesome his mind is appreciated; he sure was brilliant in ways I can't even begin to imagine.. Went to his little shop, there is a few bottles of things I'm not sure what they are.. I will reach out to clean up :) We took more his notes to the dump sadly, but if any of his books is wanted. I will try to get them homes. I feel bad about throwing away books. A lot are on

Hello Crystal,

First and foremost, my sincere condolences.

I hope we can keep your father’s teachings and expertise alive on this forum for as long as possible.

Pete

This is heartbreaking for me. Butcher was a huge influence on my gold refining education. I have been gone for a long while. I looked forward to chatting with you. Im sad not to be able to chew the fat together again. May you rest in peace my friend.

His knowledge is admired by many on this forum, though I am new to it as a member, I have been reading it over years. He helped many, including myself, without even knowing it. My deepest condolences to you and the rest of your family.

Welcome to us.
And yes he helped many through the years and in many ways helped form this forum to what it is.

Wow, first I heard of this.
What a huge loss. Such a deep helpful person all around.
Had some very good texts with Butcher many years ago when I was user Komtek.
Miss you, Rest in Peace brother.
