delboy9891, I could suggest a vacuum valve, you need a vacuum however a slight reduction in vacuum may slow the velocity of the fume going through your system. In my situation, we are installing Column Scrubbers with Glass Barrel media to slow down and diffuse the fume.

Yes after having dropped most of the Hydroxides.
Those are nice columns, how tall are they? As suggested a vacuum valve to slow down the airflow to better match the flow generated by the eductor with the size of the column. Remember the retention time for the fume in the column is what makes this work. And all glass gives the advantage of seeing the color of the fume to determine when you need new chemistry.

Glassware is where it's at. It can be done a lot of ways once you have the basic assembly. Everything begins small, as you find success growth begins in the size of your capabilities. I deal with ores exclusively, I'm no longer dealing with refining as it's too competitive to get the gold to refine.
All ores must start with Pre-treatment, no pre-treatment and you'll never see the gold. He's a few basic starters in Pre-treatment roasts, but there are many others. Breaking complexes is what I do. There isn't any New Chemistry, what I do is apply different applications to existing technology. No Hocus-Pocus, just analytical chemistry.

Hi Peter, could you please provide some information on the eductor you are using with that pump in the video please. I am in the process of setting up a scrubber and love the simplicity of yours. I have a pump on the way with very similar specs to the one you have used. Im thinking of ordering one of these https://www.spaparts.com.au/waterway-gunite-venturi-jet-with-extension-nozzle im just not sure if the 40mm pipe size will matter! i am also going to purchase some variations in the nozzle sizes. 1/4, 5/16 and 7/16.

I have been under the understanding that washing gas through solution is washing. primarily to distill and recover the acids.
I built a washing station and what thought was a scrubber which involves activated charcoal so that clean air can be vented into the atmosphere.
For the most part finding gold in nature and the chemistry of precious metal extraction is a game. Chemistry is a: You get what you put in discipline. I don't neutralize my acids I get them back and reuse them. Why use money to buy more chemicals if I already have the chemicals in solution.
My rules are get the gold for free, process it conservatively ($) and maximize profits.
I can do in 2 weeks what others can do in 1 hard fought expensive day.
In any case this is a cool conversation and the examples are great!
I'll need to review my terminology because I'm no longer confident I'm using the correct terms.
