Does anyone have info on this device ? I've seen a picture a few days ago, but i cant find it again. It was a ultralight trike with something like a 2-3 foot bar , perpendicular to the flying direction. It looked as it could scan the ground and generate a log as it flew, or maybe send data to a laptop and generate a 2D/3D map. I don't know.
I mean how powerfull would this need to figure out (at least partialy) the places with more black sand ? I mean it's high in the sky. We could say it could be as low as the pilot feel comfortable, maybe 20-30 foot, i dont think lower. Or maybe lower.... I bet it would have to be like a big version of a hand held metal detector, right ? Anybody got some info ? Some circuit plans....power/pouput ?
