I would beware of that calculator and the website.

In the text above, it says that the gold on typical fingers is 300 micro" thick. If the calculator (which isn't allowing me to get the total) is based on that, the results are 10 times too high.

He also says that the hard gold is 24 karat. You can't have gold that is both hard and 24 karat. Actually, in the industry, electronic gold purity is never measured in karats. Always in %.

yeah i saw the 24k reference - i'm thinking it's specific for omni circuit boards? The total is given once you add all the variables then actually click outside of any of the info boxes on the app somewhere

That's a blog. The writer is wrong too many times for me to trust him.

At 30 micro", those preset numbers should give .076g.
