AP solution turns clear when heated

I started a small batch of BGA chips in AP and started using heat for the first time. I noticed the solution turned crystal clear when the temp got hot the after turning off the heat it went right back to the normal familiar yellow. Anyone know why?

DId you bubble air through it?

Yellow makes me think you have put some iron in, which displaced the copper and now you have iron chloride leach.

Can you walk us through how you made your AP solution? Just to start with the basics. I’ve never seen yellow or clear AP.

No copper in solution? I never seen AP yellow or clear, just green

BGA chips....I assume your trying to remove the solder balls?
