can i substitute Nitric Acid with sodium or potasium nitrate ?

can i use nano3 instead of nitric acid in ar?we are having dificulties in obtaining nitric acid here in Brasil. How can i dissolve scrap containing gold as quickly as i do with Ar?Any ideas?thanks for replies.

Yes it works good.
If you have not gotten all the details from searching.
Get used to how much you add. Start small amounts.
There seems to be a delay in reaction time with additions of nitrate like nitric acid additions but with more delay.
