Or a combination.

As is usually the case when some clueless zealot is the one making decisions these people look at headlines rather than the nitty gritty and ongoing effects of their decisions. We tend to over protect animals here to the point of nature killing them off. This causes a steep and severe fluctuation in numbers. At one point our state had less than 10,000 beaver at which time we protected them to the point of it being a felony crime for killing one, 9-10 years ago we had 6 beaver for each person. Now we are back to them being a nuisance and open season year round on them.
Yes and as long as one can "manage" populations things go well.As is usually the case when some clueless zealot is the one making decisions these people look at headlines rather than the nitty gritty and ongoing effects of their decisions.
Emotions don't make good decisions.Yes and as long as one can "manage" populations things go well.
If you hunt the "deer" one need to adjust the level of predators too.
As always one need to manage the whole system so it is in balance.
The challenge today is that the cute ones create too much noise, especially in SoMe and other similar foras.
You do know that whole post could be analogous for humans tooYes and as long as one can "manage" populations things go well.

Strange thing this, many of the activists for Animal rights seem to have no sympathies whatsoever for the human race. You do know that whole post could be analogous for humans too
