this flips are made of a white plastic and in its tips there are two metalic foils (pd)-- and inside the plastic there is a fine pd wire that leads to the small machine that measure the diabetes----they are produced by roche labs-----it is said that a kilo of these flips have more then 15grams of pd-----they are made also with gold--
does any member have any information of these flips?
thanks for any information
Arthur

Hello Forum members;

I'm reading the article and nobody got any positive results effectively.

I have the roche flips: with gold and the other? What is done? Pd, Ag?

I started incinerating 1 Kg After burning weighed 231g.

Made by leaching with AR 1h30min, tested with stannous chloride, and negative.

I burned the dust again, and again digested with AR and added sulfuric.

And tested negative again.

Put the powder into the furnace and then hydrochloric acid as PdO suspected, but negative again.

What else can be done?

Does it have the same Pd? Or Ag?

I begin to suspect that it is not and neither metals.

Marcel;

Sorry, I missed your question.

Thanks Arthur,

For answer, really I am almost convinced that it is not precious metal.
