i am receiving 400kilos of fantasy jewllery and wires plated with palladium----
it has about one and a half grams of palladium per kilo ---around 20 ounces of pd------these material is basically copper plated with nickel and then palladium over it---------after this if no problem, these material would be plated with gold or rh(or both) -as there was problems, these material became scrap.
i would like help on how one would deal with these material to obtain back the pd------ ar or nitric? or another way? although nitric is 2dollars a liter here,by my calculation i would need 1200 liters of nitric-------with ar , i need help to calculate, but i think it would be 400litters of nitric and 1200liters of hcl(1dollar per liter)-----the question 2400 with nitric or 2000dollars with ar----what is quicker and more efficient? and if my calculations are right?

please give some insights
Arthur

It's a long shot, but maybe you could strip them in sulfuric cell.
My hunch says, unlike gold, Pd will stay in solution though.
