this weekend i incinerated 3kilos of flatpacks--after pulverizing 1kilo i added 300ml of nitric acid with 700ml of distilled water---lots of brown fumes and the solution boiled over ---the powder is in this solution (i put everything back after the boil over---i did this to dissolve the silver --i am going to filtrate the solution and to the liquid add nacl for agcl formation----i would like some sugestions of how to obtain the gold from the powder---ar,ac,ap???

AP is rejected,
both AR & HCL-CL will work but i recommend the hcl method for ease of use and no such fumes.
you'll need to filter good after you've dissolved your gold.

I agree, it is usually very dirty gold in the first precipitation from material like this.
