Hello does any one know the scientific name for gold testing liquid the type ypu place on to paper and add a drop of your disolves gold solution to see if all the gold has been dropped out of the solution ?
and What percentage strength does net nitric and hydrochloric acid at the moment I can get hydro AT 68% strength and nitric at 32%
any help would be great

I only understand the first question, and that would be a stannous chloride solution.
 
Stannous chloride, as has been suggested. Read Hoke.

You have your acids reversed. One does not purchase HCl @ 68%, but it's likely you can buy nitric at that level of concentration. Both are perfectly well suited to refining precious metals.

There is Nitric at over 90%, White and Red fuming Nitric acid. If you start asking around for it, you might get a visit from the authorities, though.
