The solution can be reused, read the document on Laser Steve’s web site.
If you did not add too much oxidizer the solution would not dissolve gold.
If gold were dissolved it would cement out when copper was added to solution (if you reuse the solution you could get it then).
you could test with stannous chloride if you wish to dispose of, or try cementing anything with copper a day or two.
If you have fine gold powder it may take some time undisturbed to settle.
