How do i seperate gold from a silver and gold melted button. Copper and lead have been removed already

you need to add silver so that the total amount of gold is no more than 25% of the total mass.
fuse it all into one hemogenic melt and dissolve in nitric acid.
silver will dissolve, gold will precipitate....

You can also add copper.
gold should be no more than a quarter of the weight of the ingot.

You could have it XRF scanned and sell it as karat gold? (here on the Forum?)

Thank you. Its called inquarting or something similiar? Ive looked on google and you tube, but neither place gave me a direct answer. I appreciate your reply

I would like to know how to seperate the silver from the gold. It originally came from one of my mining claims was crushed, ran it on an rp4 table to a heavy concentrate. Smelted it in a bone ash cupel and now i have a blob of gold and silver. Thats a quick version
