What is the best method to cut the fingers off a board cleanly? I am using a hydrolic shear that we use here to clean auto radiators here. Scissors clearly do not work. I am thinking something more like garden shears?

Any help would be appreciated.

Ryan,
I use electricians scissors I bought at Home Depot.
They are heavy duty and they are holding up great.
I didn't think they would hold up like they have. They
are the smaller ones also, and they work great, the
larger size would give better leverage and work alot
easier. Jim

some ideas, the old paper cutter we had in grade school http://images.mybinding.com/www.mybinding.com/9118-GBC-Paper-Cutter.jpg

I use tin snips or wire cutters. Both work perfectly.

Also used really wide, plier-like things that are used to skin catfish... Since they are so wide you can clamp on the backside of the fingers and bend up and down and it comes off right where you need it.

The scissors I got at Home Depot are Fiskars industrial.
They have an orange handle with wide about 2" blades.
I planned on getting a larger pair, but these little ones
work great so I didn't bother. But if I got a very large
amount of fingers to cut I would go buy bigger ones.
