Greetings to everyone. Thank you for the warm welcome Nugget, I appreciate the rules of "engagement " and will respectfully abide. I'm also super excited to be beginning my "second life" in the field of adventure and find my self hooked on the rush of finding earth's treasures. I have a picture of something i discovered today , quite by accident as i was walking from my car to the machine shop to pick up service parts and i thought i could post it and get some valued opinions. I have a vast variety of rocks ,gems and stones but first time ive encountered this one . Please have an eye spy ! Weight is 4,855 kg.16497972315548926619879193805671.jpg16497973209094094097097249697309.jpg16497974170755087067672797589052.jpg16497974536771933757519284113970.jpg16497975023796245483316742277224.jpg

So far, you have a rock.

At the top of the prospecting and mining section is a sticky on qualitative testing of rocks and ores.

Read. Study. Have fun.

Time for more coffee.
