I have two oil drums full of gold pins & two oil drums full of the gold fingers (those rows of gold squares and rectangles you can cut off of mother boards and such) removed from all sorts of electronics. Any advice on how and where I should start extracting the gold? I just dont want to mess this up I have been saving this stuff my whole life.
Sounds like you have a lot of material to run. You found the right place to learn the best methods and practices. This is probably the single most important depository of information pertaining to recover and refining precious metals on the internet. And welcome.

I would suggest reading the book by C. M. Hoke. A lot of people have not only read the same book, but most if not all of us use the same terminology. This will allow you to communicate effectively with the rest of us so that we all understand what is being said. The book was created for people with little or no experience. Make sure if you read the book, to do the familiarity tests, they will help you tremendously.
Also, it might be useful to take the guided tour, and to use this search link for ease of use.
I took these links as well from another members signature also. (Thanks LazerSteve)
