Thought this was interesting,

The information about making Nitric Acid from Platinum alone is interesting, but then the article also talks about the reduction of NO2 gas, using again, Platinum. I would like to pick up a scrubbing system at an auction that uses this method of reducing NO2. Anyone ever hear of anything like that happening?
