Hello everyone,,
My name is John and I am new to this forum and look forward to positive interactions here.
I live in the mineral belt of Colorado and have found many telluride samples, nuggets in the river, mustard sponge Gold and what seems to be archean green gold on friends property here in the mountains.
My knowledge of chemistry and extraction processes are limited and I will be very grateful for any useful information shared with me here. I recently purchased a new digital microscope and have the ability to post photos of some of the amazing samples found here.
I have worked personally and developed relationships with the caretakers of an old silver mine nearby that is no longer in use. My only other resource has been the owner of a local mineral shop in the area who has helped me identify some high grade gold and silver ores along with other samples.
I just wanted to introduce myself and wish everyone a great day!
