The more I have read about the system through this forum made me not want to buy one.
It is just reinventing the wheel halide leaching.
I have a gold mine my gold runs 92-95% pure the hoke book was very helpful on use other methods then AR.
Cyanide was given a bad rap, be careful with all chemicals related to refining or leaching (heavy oxidizers).
But due to the laws and the regulations Cyanide is not a good route any more.

I see this as just another twist on the Shor cell, many of his patents are taken from general knowledge in refining or recovery, and some things added or changed a little and patented, although I feel that these work to some degree, they can also come with a boat load of complications if not performed in certain conditions.

One thing in this patent I would be concerned about is the use of ammonium salts and these metals, in my thinking, some dangerous compounds could be formed if conditions were not performed in certain ways, and I was not thinking of just the fumes.

I have learned from old timers and did a lot of reading about leaching just never the refining route.
Almost bought one(shor) of his units till I understood how it works.
You can take common household salt and dissolve gold it takes a strong oxidizer.
But getting good purity as the end result is best.

Few here have used the process, as it seems there are much better methods that work better with less troubles.

Do you have a copy of Hoke's book? If not you can find download in the book section.

A book I like more geared towards mining C.W. Ammen's refining precious metals (bought mine at Action Mining).

Yes I have the hoke book I downloaded it.
I read the whole thing before I started posting here.
Going to built a small cell of my own to purify the gold from my gold mine.
I am going to use the poor mans AR to process some tailing.
But will have to roast off the sulfides or it will mess with the leach.
