...continued from last. More pics. I apparently did take 1 pic of a stannous test. The left end is from the nonreactive beaker. The right is from the beaker that dropped as expected. The test was done 24 hours after SMB was added.

That looks like some clean gold you dropped. My only recommendation would be to redissolve it again while it's still in that beaker. The reason being that if you will do that and drop it again that real fine particle stuff you are dealing with will turn into larger grains that will handle and clean up a whole lot easier.

Thanks Palladium. That's just about what I did. I boiled it gently in HCl & rinsed with water. I really should have boiled it again, but I'm not done yet. I'm saving it until I have enough to be worth re-running in AR. I still have quite a ways to go before I attempt that.
