I would like to know what steps i should take to finish my melt after having to stop half way through the process.
I had just finished priming my dish with borax and as soon as i poured the gold powder (6.5grams) on to the dish, i ran out of fuel.
How do i go about restarting and finishing my melt without having any problems ?
I would be much gratful for some good advice. thanks.

I believe you just fire it up from where you left off. Warm it up slow and easy so you don't blow your powder around or crack your dish. Easy does it till it gets hot. Your gold should bead up, if not chase it around with your torch till it cooperates.. good luck.
