Find the new video additions HERE. I am by no means a geologist or mining engineer but the selection of video's I linked, all of which I watched in their entirety, has taught me a lot about a subject about which I previously knew very little. Finding gold in it's natural state.
We now have even better answers to rock questions, watch and learn. Thank you @Reno Chris

I want to add that the" Ask Jeff Williams " line of videos is also an informative and educational series. For those not fortunate to have discovered Jeff, he combines Chris, MBMM, and other Youtubers into 1. All with a bit of showmanship = entertainment.

I love watching Jeff.
He can be a bit loud if your watching on the phone and your wife is trying to watch her series. 😅
Reno is a very good geologist who has many great video's. I'm subscribed to both of them.
Jason is great at explaining the smelting and he loves using and showing off his shaker tables and crushers off course.

I just watched a few and I tend to agree with you. I'm looking for knowledge, not performance.

I suspect he knows what he’s on about but he’s after views as he seems to earn from them rather than geology so give them bread and circuses .
There’s another guy who does the geology of gold in Australia and why and how many of the gold finds are produced, much of this stuff goes over my head, I think it’s the language, but it is interesting .

Jeff is quite noisy and boisterous. I think he gets that from being on Ancient Aliens. Having been on the TV myself, I know what the producers wish to see - a lot of drama.
He however is very knowledgable about finding Gold, including going underground, explaining the many types of deposits, and the geology. He also does panning tips, smelting, drone prospecting, underground placer, blasting, just about every facet of mining. He is a geologist and mining engineer. I think he would be a very good addition to this forum, if he agrees.

Just found another of his it’s OzGeology.

If you guys want to, feel free to add video's you feel worthy to the thread. As mods you don't even need to unlock the thread to do it. There is one post with a single video by Goldfever. That would be a good place for a short description and a link.

Jeff Williams channel in Youtube is
AskJeffwilliams

His is key to every prospector
Because He combine Geology and boots on the ground
mean He showing exactly what to look for and the type of Rocks and Different type of vein.

I totally agree with Jeff
Finding gold sometimes is tricky
because Like Him and many others miners and prospectors
We found gold where many geology report said there is none.

for that reason
Boots on the ground is exactly what every miners and prospectors needs.

I personally have been in many places where Jeff showing in His videos.

even by mistake I bump to one of his mines.
I was looking for old abandoned silver mine.
and By GPS mistake I found one of His mine.

Jeff is one of the best source of info for any miners and prospector.

by following His advice in His videos ,I have found gold in places that I never imagen that could be.

One time long time ago ,I meet His late father
He was a person with lot of knowledge .

we honor Jeff Father by keep mining and prospecting.

I never paid much attention to his work before but I went to the site and loaded a simple video about smelting gold here. Personally I think the guy is a clown and his antics on camera make me not want to see much more. But you guys decide. If you want to see more of his videos here let me know and I will try to reach out to him to get permission to post some videos in the video section.

Guys, don't ever grow old, or lose your sense of humor. I find Renochris to be very opposite of Jeff, and quite frankly, he bores me, despite his constant stream of "master" classes, which I find to be more on the 101 entry level.
This is a refining forum, so once again I find myself asking the moderators, "Where do you want to go with it"?

You are right, this is a refining forum and probably 90%+ of the threads are about gold from secondary sources. This is what the original forum was about. Over time more rockhounds and geology types have come here and as moderators we have tried to accommodate them. There are quite a number of geology forum sites that exist, yet we keep getting these folks here. We try not to chase them but we also try to provide useful information that they can use to help them in their quest.

If enough members tell me to post his video's, I will do it because the moderators do not direct which way this forum goes, we do our best to keep it moving and civil. It is our hope that even the rockhounds will collect enough gold to venture into refining it themselves which is what I feel is our true value. But we strive to meet them where they are with their questions and assist them as best as we possibly can.
Guys, don't ever grow old,
for this part it is too late for me.
or lose your sense of humor.
and this part I try to hang on to, to a point. I would never post a video of Mickey Mouse refining karat scrap no matter how well produced. Some things require us to be serious.

I meant to say "never grow up".
