Just beginner here and had a question.
I desolved gold particals and fingers using the acid/clorox method like in the videos. But the solution that I got wasn't a deep goldish yellow it was a more tinted yellowish/green. Let it sit overnight and then used bms to try and drop gold. But the solution turned to clear and just stayed clear.
What could I have done wrong?

Did you test for dissolved gold before you added the SMB?
Was there any gold in solution is what I am asking?

Yes ther was gold present but probably not a great deal

If there was gold in solution and nothing has dropped then you probably still have an excess of oxidiser (bleach in this case).
Heat the solution to drive off excess chlorine and then add more smb.
